Dive In: My Mediabistro Travel Class Starts Soon

Welcome! I travel. I drink wine. I dine. I write about it. And, I talk about it, on TV, on the radio, on podcasts, and to anyone with a bottle of Rioja red to share.
My blog is two-pronged:
---Travel Transforms. I host a lecture and web series on how travel can be a catalyst for change in your life. I cover that theme here on my blog, and I offer one-on-one classes on travel writing/editing, the craft of storytelling, life coaching, and more, all rooted in the power of travel. I also lecture at businesses and companies, extolling the virtues of travel and how it plays a vital role in work-life balance.
And, prong number two:
---Backyard Travel. I explore all the weird and wonderful ways you can travel in your own town, from sampling tongue tacos to swaying to bellydancing. Along the way, I also hunt down new and notable travel, food, and culture stories from around the world, including restaurant and hotel openings.
